YOUR NAME

The Bible says to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” Matt. 28:19-20.  It also says in Acts 1:8 “and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.  Then, Paul reminds us that God is not asking us to “jump through hoops” or to perform amazing feats…he simply suggests that this “going out – although is a command – it is simply a “reasonable thing to do”.  Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  God knows we are weak…and simply asks; to share! Paul also knew his own weakness and shortcomings when he encouraged us in 1 Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain”.  We do not have to be some “Super Christian”…we are to be just what we are…His child…telling His story…in our own weaknesses…but with His power,  His guideance, and His inspiration.  

Zambia is just one of the nations that God wants to reach.  In terms of Acts 1:8, Zambia is considered to be in one of the uttermost parts of the earth. If God is calling you…and giving you peace about this particular “reasonable” task, you can be sure that He will be with you and guide you to fulfill His command; in the place He called you…with the gifts he gave you…and the strength He will give to you…because He promised in Matthew 28:20 …and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
