Mukalahani Church

Since 2016 we have served the people of Mukalahani under this tree. This year, they are getting their first Church House.
- The village Head Man graciously donated the land. He is also one of the strongest members of the weekly Bible Study.
- Praying over the new land.
- The women of the Wednesday Bible Study have been praying for a church for a long time.
- Various teams have been invited to encourage and minister to the people of Mukalahani over the years.
- We have made frequent encouragement/evangelism visits.
- Weekly attendance in always good.
- Pastor George assisting with the duties.
- Strong Women + Strong Prayers = Strong Potential
- Evangelism door-to-door, 2-by-2.
- Teaching in the village.
- Remember Elvis? He is from Mukalahani.
- Eager for their first assembly.
- Joint services at the Maloni Church of Life.
- On Easter, 2023, the Mukalahani people attended the Church Of Life service at our base.
…and a special THANKS to Rich & Pam Birch for providing the funds necessary to build this church.
- Rich trying his hand on the wrong side of the car and on the wrong side of the road..WE SURVIVED!
- Long time friends and supporters of CGWU, Rich & Pam Birch with Ken & Karen on their mission trip last year to meet the people of Mukalahani.
- Rich getting a quick shot of a Baobab tree on the Mukalahani church land.
This is the very best way to minister to the people on the mission field.
Come here…meet the people…find your heart…and loose it for the Glory of God!
- Rich with Elvis’s mother and the village Head Man learning about Elvis’ need for better transportation.
- So, Rich dipped into his bag of tricks and we came up with a crafty solution to help get Elvis around better.
- Elvis was ecstatic. And so was the village when they learned that they were getting a new Church!
We continue to see evidence of the diversity of God’s solutions for getting the Gospel to the lost in this dying world. Once again, it did not come via a preacher or a missionary…it came through the natural skills (God’s gifts) of a retired dentist who loves to “tinker” and who has an obedient heart to use what God has given to him for the betterment of God’s kingdom. God has gifted us all.
We all have different gifts. Each gift came because of the grace God gave us. Whoever has the gift of prophecy should use that gift in a way that fits the kind of faith they have. Whoever has the gift of serving should serve. Whoever has the gift of teaching should teach. Whoever has the gift of comforting others should do that. Whoever has the gift of giving to help others should give generously. Whoever has the gift of leading should work hard at it. Whoever has the gift of showing kindness to others should do it gladly. Romans 12:6-8
Your gift is special – whatever it is. Use it for God’s glory and to the best of your abilities. God will reward you for that!
We pray that he uses you to:
