God and the Trinity
We believe in one living and true God, Creator and Ruler of all things, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct, coequal persons, one God.
Humanity and the Fall
God created humanity in His image. Through sin, people fell from innocence and became subject to physical and spiritual death and separation from God. All people need His saving grace.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived without sin, taught God’s truth, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return as King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and regenerates, sanctifies, empowers, teaches, and guides believers. He indwells every believer from the moment of salvation.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, unerring Word of God and the only infallible guide for faith and life.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ and His forgiveness. Eternal life begins when a person receives Christ by faith, and the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity.
Baptism
Baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith that symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It does not bring salvation, but is an act of obedience to Christ.
The Lord’s Supper
Communion is an ordinance for believers to remember Christ’s sacrifice and the new covenant. The bread and cup symbolize His body and shed blood; communion is not a means of salvation.
Christ’s Return and Eternity
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly, that God will judge humanity, and that every person will exist eternally—either in fellowship with God through salvation or separated from Him through rejection of that salvation.
