Sharing the Gospel Through Sports
Sports Evangelism brings young people and entire communities together through well-organized soccer and netball tournaments. These events are much more than athletic competitions: they create opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build lasting relationships.
We preach the Gospel at the beginning of each tournament, provide personal counseling and Gospel conversations between games, and give a final invitation before the championship match. At nearly every tournament, we witness many people responding to the message of salvation.
We work to make each tournament an exceptional experience for players and spectators. Our events include trophies, the Red Cross, paid referees, lunch, drinking water, and meaningful awards for the top four teams and outstanding individual players.
Every tournament is documented with photography, video, and interviews. We prepare a video record for those who supported that tournament so donors can see the event and the lives their gifts helped reach.
