TAYLER MEYERS

“Hello!
My name is Tayler Meyers. God called me to the mission field in 2019. In 2022 I pursued that calling as a full time missionary in Haiti. However, the Lord unexpectedly re-directed me to Zambia after I had served in Haiti for a short time. I fell in love with so many aspects of Zambia and the people. But my personal highlight was to see Zambian people give their lives to Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. I am excited to partner with Come Go With Us and serve within their ministry. This includes hosting teams at the guesthouse, working with the women’s prison ministry, serving with the Good News Club, and various other ministries associated with the CGWU mother church in Maloni – The Church of Life – and other ministries they support.”

Tayler was recommended by our good friends Jim & Debbie Hambrick to serve as an intern with us here in Zambia.  Jim & Debbie thought Come Go With Us in Zambia would be a great alternative training ground for Tayer who had recently begun a 2-year internship in Haiti.  By 2022 the situation in Haiti began to deteriorate to the point where it was no longer safe for Tayler to remain there. So, she was forced to abandon her post but she was not ready to abandon her ministry calling.

So, in August of last year (2022) we invited Tayler to join us.  Her immediate plan was to be here for 3 months, but then she returned in January 2023 for a 2-year term.  She has as blended well and is fully involved in several programs – the prison ministry, the Good News Club, women’s Bible study, and 2 youth Bible studies.  She purchased a car and adopted a kitten recently as she begins to settle in her new environment.
